1. Mindset is the key to our success or downfall. The way we view things makes a difference in our decision-making, thinking, emotions and actions.
2. We are not our thoughts – Self-awareness is a good practice to stop us from creating nonexistent storylines that can potentially lead to worry or anxiety.
3. Self-reflection. It’s always good to step back before you react. Understand the reason why we don’t like the situation or person – because they normally trigger something inside us.
4. All the answers are within us. We get caught up in our own storyline and the daily noise of life that we are clouded with our own being. It’s good to be open and get a new perspective from others you trust or others who can help you see your situation at a different angle.
5. Growth mindset. Developing a growth mindset helps us overcome any challenges and struggles - and to treat them as an opportunity for growth and learning.
6. When something is not working, change.
7. Be mindful of your self-talk. Saying “I can’t” or “I don’t know” can actually lead to blocking your own capabilities to breakthrough or overcome any challenges and struggles.
8. Get to know yourself on a deeper level if you want to become a better version of yourself.
9. Knowing yourself at a deeper level helps you identify your own blocks, cues, triggers and tipping points.
10. Personal development is a constant work in progress.
If you find yourself unsatisfied, burned out, or bored out either at a professional or personal level, try applying the points above. You might find the solution to break out of the cycle.
