Did you ever ask yourself why you overthink and overanalyze?
Based on my personal experience and working with clients, I noticed that the main reason for overthinking and overanalyzing is because we want to control. But that is just the surface; there is a deeper reason.
We want to control outcomes, people, scenarios and results. We want to control every step and everything. And that desire to control leads to endless thinking, analyzing and replaying scenarios in our minds.
So the deeper question is - why do we want to control?

It comes from fear. Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Just fear.
And that fear comes from an even deeper root cause.
It can come from inner child wounds - the need to be validated and approved, which makes us fear failure and rejection.
It can come from a specific event or experience where we failed or were rejected and never truly healed from it. So we feel the need to prove ourselves, to be validated, to be approved.
Now the real question is - how do you stop overthinking and overanalyzing?
You have to go back to the root cause and release and heal the trauma or deep emotional wounds. There are different ways to do this and the most important thing is that you choose a modality or technique that truly works for you.
For me and my clients, I use hypnosis. I find it is the fastest way to access and reprogram the subconscious. And I am not exaggerating when I say one session can save you months - if not years of therapy. I have seen it for myself and for others.
For now, I will leave you to reflect on the deeper reasons why you overthink and overanalyze.
Awareness is always the first key to moving forward.
